We need a mascot that customer can recognize on an ongoing bases. To bring more "life" to our site. Something interesting.

Does your illustration need to be a particular size?

Vector art would be best....

What is your industry?

Retailing

Describe the target audience for your illustration

The target audience is half women and half men from approximately 30 to 60 years old. Many are DIYer and people who want to save money. People who go the extra mile to find a deal. Most are comfortable with purchasing online... Our average online purchase is $2,500

Recognize our mascot with our brand... If they leave the site and come back to it they recognize our mascot...
Build a re pore with our customers....
A mascot to remember...

I do like the "roger" mascot for seomoz.org site..... I think we are going to need several different poses ect. He might have or high light talking points like Mascot says-- "Top 3 ways to have on hardwood flooring"

Colors that compliment the site...

Colors that do not compliment the site.

What adjectives should best describe your illustration?

Give the customer a warm and cozy feeling about making a purchase.. Something to set our site apart of all the others... A mascot that is remember-able.... Most customers leave and come back later to buy and it would be great for them to recognize the mascot to know they are on the right site...

Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?

Need it for web and print... 300 dpi..

Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?

Although some are in the ball par, nothing is jumping out to us as "that is it". As for some guidance, I wish we could give you more. Abstract would be fine and we do like a "guy" type of mascot.

Hopefully we will just see the "ONE" and call it a day:)
