Business Name

Fleetmatics

What do you do?

SaaS fleet management software for small businesses. We have 16,000 customers, with 280,000 vehicles on the road, all tracked using our web-hosted software. Our product enables our customers to better manage their mobile assets in order to reduce fuel consumption, more effectively route their drivers, reduce overtime pay, improve customer satisfaction, and increase their business revenues.

Our product works by tracking the vehicles via GPS transponders, and noting speed, direction, movement, location, and other factors.

The symbol that most represents our customers is the "white van". So the inclusion of a white van in the illustration would probably make a lot of sense.

Our customers tend to be in the service business. E.g., plumbers, electricians, HVAC contractors, landscapers, etc. And our basic value proposition is that we help them manage their businesses more effectively by turning the collection of data into operational insight they can use to build their business.

How many pages of illustration do you need?

1

What do you need illustrated?

A holiday greeting card design. The illustration will be uploaded to a site, like Shutterfly, to produce holiday greeting cards. The cards will measure 5 x 7, and can be either portrait or landscaper orientation.

It would also be nice to have a little "coda" -- a mini-illustration that could be placed on the back of the card.

We will craft a message for the interior -- a non-denominational greeting wishing our customers and partners a happy holiday season and prosperous new year. We will want to come up with wording that ties the holiday wishes to our business. E.g., "Wishing you peace, prosperity, and lasting customer relationships" -- or something like that. The copy is not part of the scope, but a design that inspires copy will be looked upon favorably.

Does your illustration need to be a particular size?

5 x 7 (in either orientation)

What is your industry?

Software and InfoTech

Describe the target audience for your illustration

Small business B2B customers. Service business owners and operators.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?

A sense of customer commitment; a sense of whimsy; a sense of compassion -- all while conveying professionalism and expertise in our business.

What lillustration styles do you like?

Whimsical, but down to earth. Nothing dark. The overall feeling should capture the seasonal spirit, but in a secular way. Snow is good; religious symbols are not good.

Please take a look at these videos to get a sense of our style:

What colors do you want to see in your illustration?

The card should be harmonious with our corporate logo (see attached). Our corporate colors are shades of blue, ranging from a bright blue to a dark slate.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?

Try to avoid the "traditional Christmas colors". It's fine to have a green tree or a red scarf, but the card shouldn't be an ornate red, green, and gold.

What adjectives should best describe your illustration?

Whimsical; professional; humorous; appreciative; down-to-earth; friendly

Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?

Printed greeting cards.

Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?

Yes.

Our web site, www.fleetmatics.com, provides corporate info. Our logo is attached.

Hi all,

We just wanted to let you know that the buyer in this project has not chosen a winner so we're going to close the project. Please know that we've made repeated attempts to contact them by phone and email but were unable to reach them.

To reward the loyal creatives who worked hard on this project and all the others on the site, we've taken the proceeds from this project and used them to fund our monthly cS Awards program. The cS Awards are issued every month based on varying criteria but are a simple way that we give back to the community and reward our creatives.

Thanks so much for participating and see you around the site,

The cS crew
