What do you do?

We put beautiful live images from around the world put them as your desktop wallpaper. These images update every couple of minutes.

With FreshDesk you can watch the sun rise in America, the lights across NewYork turn on and surfers catching waves in Australia.

FreshDesk is nearing the end of it's development and should be available within 1 month.

Do you have specific size requirements for the icons or buttons?

Main OSX App Icon (512x512):

This is the main application icon. I have attached a number of examples of nice application icons to this job.

This icon should also look good at 128x128 and 16x16. You *can* provide different versions for different sizes if needed. Some people do this to provide more detail at larger sizes and less detail at smaller sizes.

Mac applications can have different icons for the following sizes if required:
512x512
256x256
128x128
32x32
16x16


Status Bar Icon (18x18):

This is the icon that will sit in the StatusBar at the top of your mac and can be used to access a menu to control FreshDesk and manage it's preferences.
It also has a 'hover state'. Examples are attached.

Both icons can have transparency.

No specific demographic audience

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your icon or button design?

Fresh: We bring fresh live images to peoples desktop. A breath of fresh air when your in front of a computer all day.

Live/Real: The images we serve are live. Those people you see surfing the waves in Australia are real people, right now. The lights on those buildings in New York at dusk are real people getting ready for supper.

Earth: FreshDesk should be a reminder that we live in a big and beautiful world. When your stuck in an office day in, day out it's easy to forget that.

What icon or button design styles do you like?

I have attached some beautiful examples of application icons to this post - I love them whether they are simple or detailed. Do not use them as a reference as they all represent very different products.

What colors do you want to see in your icon or button design?

FreshDesk images will include skyscrapers at night, sunny days, sandy beaches, gorgeous sunsets and lush green mountains. This is not a colour scheme, I don't have any specific colours.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon or button design?
