Describe the target audience for your icon or button design

Our users are not always tech-savvy; we want to create a very click-happy experience for them!

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your icon or button design?

1- Click these buttons-- they will lead you to awesome and useful information
2- Don't be nervous to try things out-- the web site won't break
3- The aspects of the school conveyed by these buttons are all part of one big, well-organized system

What icon or button design styles do you like?

We are not committed to any particular style but need something that is accessible to a wide audience-- parents, teachers, students, and administrators.

What colors do you want to see in your icon or button design?

We're not very artistic--surprise us. The buttons will be against a blue background, as seen in the attachment. Certain colors are implied by the specifications (yellow school buses only, please!)

What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon or button design?

We're open to anything.

What adjectives should best describe your icon or button design?

Clickable, cool, clear (as in unambiguous)

What content must be included in the icon or button design?

Button 1 has the caption "Banking". It depicts a classic-looking bank--an American flag might be flying atop its stone dome. It should have columns (like a building you might see in D.C.). On the stairs leading down from this impressive edifice will be a student with his or her arms excitedly in the air, like s/he just won something great.
Button 2 depicts three students and has the caption "Behavior". The perspective is from behind the students, and they are sitting at their desks in a row (but somewhat at an angle-- the first student towards the bottom left, the next towards the middle, and the next towards the upper right). The first student is studiously writing on a piece of paper on his/her desk. The next is doing the same. The third is looking up attentively and has his/her hand raised. Genders/races of students can be ambiguous or chosen at your discretion, but please include a bit of diversity.

Button 3 has the caption "Attendance". It provides a profile view of a school bus. Through the large window in the front you can see the bus driver attending to the road (though the road isn't shown). In every window of the bus you can see students' heads--they're on their way to school.

Button 4 depicts two teachers, a man and a woman. It has the caption "Teachers". They are both professionally dressed-- the man has a shirt and tie (no jacket, please) and the woman some kind of hip (while still professional) attire. Please don't make them both white.

Do you have additional requirements or links you'd like to share?

The buttons should be on a transparent background when delivered, but the attached image shows the shade of blue that will surround them when used on our website. We like the white font used in the samples-- please attempt to match it unless you feel you can make an improvement.
