What is your industry?
There is no typical industry for our product. The end user could be police departments, parks, HOA's, construction companies, etc.
Describe the target audience for your icon or button design
Given the wide range of end users there is no single demographic which describes the target audience.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your icon or button design?
Ideally the icon could be associated with the product at at a glance.
What icon or button design styles do you like?
In general we like Windows 7 style icons. The sample banners and panels attached are also nice, they just don't fit our product theme.
What colors do you want to see in your icon or button design?
Integrate the color scheme from the proof sheet.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon or button design?
Colors should be from the proof sheet.
What adjectives should best describe your icon or button design?
Clean... not too busy
What content must be included in the icon or button design?
The application icon must contain 'FlashCAM DX' or perhaps 'FCDX'.
Do you have additional requirements or links you'd like to share?
A few items are attached for reference:
1) The proof sheet contains the product logo, font and color scheme.
2) Style4 panel and banner are examples of the deliverable. This is a generic theme provided by the installer package. Note the white space. You'll notice the graphic on the panel is a box with a CD being unpacked... sort of goes along with the install theme.
3) ClientServerDlg and ExitDialog are examples of what the panel and banner look like when used. Note the white space and how dynamic text overlays on it.
4) Device is an image of what the actual device looks like. This could be used in any of the three.
