How does project wrapup work?

As soon as you award your project, a new pink tab appears: Wrapup.

The Wrapup tab allows you to complete your project by reviewing proofs and final deliverables and by communicating your needs directly to your winning Creative.

Remember that you will see the Wrapup tab only if you're logged in and the project status is "awarded". Sometimes, users forget to log in and write to ask where the Wrapup tab is. You will see the Wrapup tab as soon as you log in. If you still cannot see the wrapup tab (but you are logged in and the project status is "awarded"), contact us and we will fix that for you right away.

Once you award your project, you and your awarded Creative have 30 days to complete the wrapup. Once you assign your award(s), we'll send a note by carrier pigeon (or email) to the winning Creative(s) to give them the good news!

PROOFS

We will ask the Creative to provide their name and payment information - and to upload your proof (or to ask you any questions). As soon as the files are uploaded for your review or if the Creative leaves you a comment, you will receive an email notification right away. To download proofs, simply click on the blue name of your files in the wrap up and they will start downloading right away to your computer. If the proofs are not what you've asked for, just leave a comment (or several) to provide further instructions or to ask questions.

Hint: Sometimes, you'll find that you want a little extra work done during project wrapup. That's not a problem. You should contact your Creative right away and ask them about the cost for this additional work. You'll be able to increase your award right in project wrapup to account for this additional work.

FINAL FILES

When you are satisfied with the proofs, you can ask the creative to provide final files (click the big green button in step 2 of wrapup in design projects). As soon as the final files are uploaded for your review or if the Creative leaves you a comment, you will receive an email notification right away. To download the final files, simply click on the blue name of your files in the wrap up and they will start downloading right away to your computer. If the final files are not what you've asked for, you can let the Creative know this by leaving a comment in Step 3 (but do not complete Step 3).

If you run into any issues and are not happy with the help you're receiving from your Creative, contact us and we'll step in and help right away.

Keep in mind that your project (and the final files) will be available for you to access for 90 days after you have completed the wrapup.

RATINGS

After you've downloaded the final files, there's one more small step left. We've developed a two-way reputation system with relevant information to help you decide whether to work with a particular Creative or Buyer. At the end of every project, we ask the Buyer and designer to rate each other on a variety of factors and to provide a short written response about the project. This reputation system helps Buyers and Creatives on crowdSPRING to make informed decisions. After you've approved your final files, you can rate the Creative's services.

The rating is based on three simple criteria: Timing, Communication and Overall Satisfaction. Simply move the cursor between 0 and 100 where you think it is appropriate for each criteria (100 being the highest rating) and leave a comment about your experience with the Creative. That's it - you're done! Thanks!

Your Creative will be paid typically within three business days after you've approved the final files.
