Easy-to-read (we want it to look organized and simple so when the woman opens the email and first glances at it, they can tell it's easy to get information here quickly.
I like designs that aren't too fussy or jammed with content. I like designs make good use of white space -- and use photos appropriately to catch the eye and guide the reader through the document (in other words, I don't like it when photos overwhelmn the design, but rather add to it).
Use the colors used in the logo provided -- plus black for copy.

Noe -- the logo designer put the dotted bar between teh name of the newsletter and the provider (Bought to you by National Seminars Training). I think that dotted line works there -- but it is NOT NOT NOT an element I'd want to see repeated in the newsletter design.
NOTE -- if you win this project -- final files would need to be submitted in fully editable, layered PSD -- along with fonts and soruce of graphics used.
