Creative brief

What does your company do?

We are a housing trust with about 6000 homes in East Surrey, UK. We are running an 11 week support programme to help entrepreneurs learn about starting and running a business.
It is specifically in a town called Merstham but we may be able to run it in other local towns if successful.
We would like a name for this programme. It is being delivered by Enterprise Cube and they call it Strive but we want our own name in case we use another supplier at a later date.

Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?

Possibly - a .biz or .co.uk

What is your industry?

Other

Describe your customers

Local people who would like to start up their own business but may lack a little know-how and/or confidence

What 3 things do you want your company name to communicate to your customers?

That this is a professional, business support programme (not related to Raven Housing Trust)
That they will get enough knowledge to move their business idea forward
That following a dragons den style presentation they may win a small amount of cash to help start their business

List the names of your top three competitors

School for Start-Ups - http://www.schoolforstartups.co.uk/
Young Start-up Talent - http://www.youngstartuptalent.co.uk/
http://www.enterprisecube.org/project/strive/ (this is the programme we'll be running so it can't look too similar)
* we're not really in competition but these are known in the UK so we wouldn't like to look the same!

What character, tenor, or spirit do you wish to convey?

We don't want to scare people off but don't awnt to look fluffy. This is real business support to help people. So we want to be inclusive but professional.

Are there specific words or phrases you do not like?

Nothing to achingly trendy or too young (this is open to anyone regardless of aget etc)

Are there specific words or phrases you like?

Not particularly

Do you have other info you want to share?

Sorry for the short turnaround time but have to start promoting soon!
