Creative brief

What does your company do?

We are seeking a name for a parent company which will have holdings in a wide variety of technical and management sectors. While we are heavy in the tech space at present, we do not desire a name that speaks only to technology.
Ideally we would like the name to combine multiple elements to form the whole. The core element should speak to being solid, secure and strong combined with a modifier element that gives an element of interest and excitement to the core element. Purely as an example, “Oak” as a core element with “Fire” as the modifier would serve to create the name “Fire Oak”.
This name must work on a global scale. Therefore particular care must be made to ensure that the resulting name have no negative connotations in other languages nor be offensive to any religious group or belief system.
The name must not be trademarked or registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office – so be sure it clears a search on http://USPTO.gov It must also be freely available as a .com URL, ideally without hyphenation.
